Los Cabos de Caletas is located in the middle of a beautiful rainforest in the Central Pacific area of Costa Rica near Hotel Villa Caletas, overlooking the beautiful coastline that brings this zone to life. From each side of the mountain, rain forests spread to sandy, quiet beaches below. Views of lush tropical rain forests with the emerald green ocean complement some of the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever see. This region is home to some of the most beautiful beaches of the country, which also happen to be the closest to Costa Rica’s capital, San Jose. Amongst the most well-known beaches, we have Punta Leona, Jaco, and Manuel Antonio. All of these stunning beaches are known for being a surfer’s paradise. You will find Los Cabos de Caletas right in front of Jaco Beach. Furthermore, many other equally stunning beaches are just fifteen minutes away… or even less! In just a short drive you will be in a completely different area, but still, very close to your home in Los Cabos de Caletas.

The Los Cabos de Caletas development is located just off the Pan-American Highway northbound. It is near two of the most exciting beach towns in the area. Only five miles will separate you from downtown Jaco and four miles stand between your future home and Herradura Beach. Los Cabos de Caletas is also minutes away from the famous Carara Biological Reserve, which encloses three different types of ecosystems: swamps, a lake, and an old-growth rain forest, and Manuel Antonio National Park. Tropical rain forests will line your way to heaven.

How to Get Here

Getting to Los Cabos de Caletas is extremely easy. Follow these simple directions to get to Los Cabos de Caletas. From San Jose or from Juan Santamaria International Airport, take the Pan-American Highway northbound to the intersection of Atenas (take route marked # 34). You will drive through the quaint town of Atenas and up through the mountain named Monte del Aguacate. After forty minutes, you will get down to the town of San Mateo. In the following intersection, turn left and follow the signs to Orotina. After this, keep following the signs to Jaco Beach or Punta Leona Beach (21 mi). From Punta Leona’s main entrance, continue on the same highway for 1.5 mi. You will reach Los Cabos de Caletas on the right hand side of the road. Los Cabos de Caletas is approximately 1.5 m from the main road.
